The Higher Education User Group is a true asset and powerful tool, able to bridge gaps between institutions that share a similar goal. My passion for higher education and technology led me to accept my fist job at San Francisco State Univeristy, part of the California State Univeristy system in 2000 as an Information Technology Consultant. I was a lead in the implementation of PeopleSoft HCM in 2003, responsible for Security in HRMS, upgrades, and support for all modules in PeopleSoft. I have had the pleasure of presenting on topics such as Security, Reporting and Upgrades for colleagues in the Higher Education users group as well as Oracle Open World. I worked at SFSU for 12 years from 2001-2013 and grew to manage the Human Resources Information systems team. Using my technical and functional expertise, I was able to understand the product cycle from development to the day-to-day use of the product by the end-user. In April of 2013 I started a new job at California State University East bay as the Peoplesoft/Oracle Security Lead for HCM, Campus Solutions and Financials. In January of 2015 I started in my current position as the Oracle Security Admin for the Student Implementation Project at University of California Berkeley.
