I am currently the Systems & Operations Manager for the University of Utah Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid. I began my financial aid career way back in the 1900's and have worked at a variety of public and private institutions, including leading the original PS FA implementation at Emory University (on version 7.6!). I've consulted at a variety of schools in the interim years and have gained community college experience that way, and find myself once again at a large 4-year public institution. While I'm officially a systems manager, my unofficial title includes 'Funky-Tech' as I spend a lot of time ensuring communication between functional and technical staff is clear and understood by both sides.
I'm a previous PAG member (early 2000's) and a huge advocate of the HEUG community. I've presented at Alliance, as well as whatever it was called pre-Alliance. I think the FA HEUG community in particular is the absolute best resource out there, and not just for PS schools.
