Bio

I have worked in higher education now for over twenty five years, gaining extensive first-hand experience of the overall student journey. During this time I have undertaken varies positions at Queen’s University.  I first commenced in the Registry Office of a School within QUB in which my role focused on the enrolment and registration process right through to graduation.  It was during this time that my experience focused on the Student Records module after QUB’s implementation of CS in 2008.

After leaving the School in 2011 I joined the Student Finance Office were I gained operational experience on the Student Financials and Financial Aid modules. I then joined the Student Finance Reimplementation project in which my main role was the Institutions tuition and fees reconfiguration.

In 2012 I joined the Qsis Support Team as a Business Support Analyst and provided Student Records and Student Finance support to all Qsis users across the Institution. As part of this role I provided Campus Solutions training to multiple levels of staff across Schools and Directorates to ensure effective utilising of Qsis.

I commenced my current role as Functional Development Lead in 2014 and have delivered projects specifically related to the Student Records track.

I have presented at both Alliance and EMEA HEUG conferences and I chair the UK Student Records User Group.
