Hello! My name is Robert Norris and I'm currently a Business Systems Analyst Lead with the University of Michigan (U-M) Salesforce Center of Excellence Team and have been employed by U-M for 17 years.
A little about my background in the Recruiting & Admissions world, I originally started at the U-M as a Document Management Team Leader at the Office of Undergraduate Admission (OUA) where I lead a team of approximately 20-25 document processors for 4+ years that processed over 1 million pieces of mail (application materials) annually. After OUA, I transferred to the Graduate Admissions Office at the Stephen M. Ross School of Business where I lead a team of 6 Admissions Assistants that worked one on one with applicants to ensure their applications were completed for the evaluation staff. We also worked with admitted applicants through the matriculation process and international application through the immigration process.
In 2023, I joined the Salesforce Center of Excellence, a newly formed department on our campus created to expand the use of the CRM tool across our recruitment, admissions and student communities.
