I have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a master's degree in Information Systems/Business Analytics and, ten years of combined work experience.
I have been working with PeopleSoft for the past seven years. My areas of focus are Grants, Project Costing, Contracts, Billing, and Receivables. I also have some exposure in General Ledger, Commitment Control, and Accounts Payable.
My current position at UNC is as an Assistant Director of Financial Quality Control. I lead the data management team and the business analyst team in our office of Sponsored Programs. The data management team enters award data in our pre-award system and feed that data into PeopleSoft. That team also works on award modifications and maintenance. The business analyst team works with our internal users on system support and with the Information Technology Systems (ITS) department on system enhancements and PUM releases. My team helps with the requirement, design, and testing phases of the project. We also work with ITS on issues that require SQL or admin updates. Prior to UNC, I worked as a technology consultant for four years helping develop SharePoint and .NET applications.
I joined UNC in 2015, just over one year after we went live with PeopleSoft. I was part of team that made it possible for UNC to send invoices in the system. I worked on many projects to map business processes into the system and helped create many reports.
I was a co-presenter at two Alliance conferences.
