I have been the Assistant Director of Admissions Systems at the University of Louisville since 2008. I am the functional lead for undergraduate admissions. We receive approximately 18,000 undergraduate applications per year, and admit around 10,000 freshmen and 2,500 or so transfer students. Our freshmen class each year is just under 3,000 students. We use Hyland Onbase for our document imaging system, and I have helped create a paperless environment for admissions using Workcenters to aid in the admissions funnel process. Prior to working in admissions, I was the Director of the Central Billing and Information Systems at the University of Louisville for the state's early intervention program, First Steps. I did database management, queries and reports, as well as managing a staff of up to 10 data entry and customer service employees. In both capacities at UofL, I have overseen implementation of document imaging, and a paperless workplace.
