I am currently a Solution Architect at the University of Nottingham. I have over 9 years of experience working as a Functional Analyst, Senior Consultant and most recently a Solution Architect in the Higher Education sector. Throughout my career I have managed teams to implement major IT and business change projects across alternative business areas within higher education.
I have a vast experience of working and overseeing projects from internal teams, external partners and third parties. I also have a substantial experience in working with offshore teams, contractors, and external suppliers to meet deliverables in strict timelines .
I have excellent knowledge of IT systems and Development. I have worked with numerous University systems and worked on a variety of Interface and Infrastructure projects.
Throughout my career I have been involved in both the functional and technical side. I have excellent knowledge of PeopleSoft Campus Solutions and have worked with each module over the years. I also have experience of working with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, OBIE and the Interaction Hub.
I'm an active member of the UK Student Records User Group (SRUG) and presented at HEUG EMEA on numerous occasions. I am a regular attendee of the Alliance conferences and I find the insight invaluable.
I have been determined in my career and continually aim to improve and develop, not only as an individual but with the teams and the wider user community, which I drive and leverage through my positivity and enthusiasm. I find the HEUG an excellent platform to share knowledge and meet colleagues within the sector.
