My name is Rachel Sullivan, and I’m a Lead Business Systems Analyst at the University of Michigan. I’ve been with the University for 30 years, working in Information and Technology Services.
My area of expertise is in Recruiting-Admissions and Campus Community. I have experience with PDL application and test score loads, SEVIS functionality and integrations, fluid self-service, Nelnet EDR payment integration/setup, update program action reason, residency, evaluations, personal data, person basic sync to HCM, external orgs, service indicators, PS security, and PUM and security patch testing. My team has built and supports integrations with admissions vendor systems, such as Slate and CollegeNET.
In my current role, I wear many hats! I am a Business Systems Analyst, so I work very closely with our customers in the admitting units on changes introduced through PUMs or enhancements and initiatives. I also manage the Business Systems Analysts on the Recruiting & Admissions team, overseeing day-to-day production support as well as admissions-related projects and initiatives.
Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, reading, entertaining my two Labrador Retrievers (Milo & Molly) with a game of fetch, or preparing for my next 5k.
